Kankaria Lake (Ahmedabad) , Gujarat, India

                       Kankaria Lake Ahmedabad is the largest lake in the city and a regular hangout spot for the locals. The lakeside is well developed and is perfect for strolls, especially in the evenings. As the day comes to a close, the lake is lit up with colourful lights all around its periphery. It makes for an amazing sight.

                      For those looking forward to some action, there are plenty of options to choose from. There are water rides, boating, zorbing, food stalls, and if you are lucky, you can get a chance to go on a balloon ride as well. The  complex also encloses the Kankaria Zoo, Balvatika, Kids City, Toy Train, Butterfly Park, Aquarium, Stone Mural Park and much more. Kankaria Lake Ahmedabad also hosts the very famous Kankaria Carnival, a week-long event, held every year in December.
